Reports to and works collaboratively with the Associate Director for Programming
Involvement Record and Outside the Classroom Curriculum
1. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of the Involvement Record
2. Work with other units in Student Success and beyond to coordinate the implementation of the Outside the Classroom Curriculum
3. Establish involvement program for students
4. Supervise student staff as appropriate
The Assistant Director also provides support in the following areas:
Campus Programming
1. Assist Associate Director in Programming efforts
2. Work collaboratively with the Campus Programming Board, Student Association, Residential Life and Athletics among others to help build a more cohesive and comprehensive activity schedule on and off campus that meets the needs of the student body
3. Office Marketing/Branding
4. Assessment
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
- Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, leadership, decision-making skills
- The ability to work individually and in a team setting
- Experience working with students and/or student organizations from a variety of cultural backgrounds
- Experience organizing or coordinating campus events or programs
Preferred:
- Demonstrated progress towards completion of Masters degree
