Description


- Manage outside vendor maintaining portfolio accounting system, including
- Reconciliation with custodian records
- Accurate cost basis
- Maintain rebalancing software (make sure new accounts are added, appropriate targets are assigned, appropriate investments are included)
- Maintain Advisor View (user interface to portfolio accounting system)
- Rebalance client portfolios quarterly and on an ad-hoc basis keeping in mind cash inflows/outflows, tax consequences, investment limitations
- Adjust client portfolios when there is a change to the investment policy statement
- Produce and send cash in/out and new account reports to colleagues
- Trade all client accounts
- Follow-up with clients to make sure they make recommended trades in 401(k)/ 403(b) accounts in the WebPortfolio system
- Design and produce performance reports for quarterly distribution
- Work with accountants to answer questions about clients’ portfolios
- Research mutual funds and ETFs using Morningstar Principia
- Assist with the research for changes to our investment models
- Prepare investment recommendations for financial planning clients
- Compile and analyze data for investment reviews- prepare presentation document
- Operational projects as needed

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Major (minimally, minor) in Economics, Business, Finance, Financial Planning, or Mathematics
- Strong academic record
