JSP Web Developer

We are looking to hire a full-time web developer to start immediately.  Rather than include the same old boring job description, here is a list of tasks the prospective employee might be asked to accomplish:
- Turn a Photoshop wireframe into static HTML/CSS
- Turn a static HTML page into a fully integrated JSP page
- Create a web page that makes an AJAX call to a web service
- Create a new database with normalized tables
- Design a new button for a web-based form
- Jump from project to project quickly switching technologies
- Keep track of your hours on different projects
- Debug a tricky bug in spaghetti JSP code
- Conduct conference calls with clients
- Write SQL queries that join 3 tables
- Research a new technology and see if it’s a good fit for a new project
- Work hard, without complaining

Other Information

- Our office is in the Historic Stockade neighborhood in Schenectady, NY
- You will be required to work in the office
- You have to know JSPs to be considered for this position
- We will only consider capital area based residents
- Our work environment is very casual
- Lunch is provided everyday
- We laugh a lot
- The hours will be approximately 9am to 5pm depending on workload
- We will consider a current senior who can begin part-time and continue on a full-time basis after graduation
- You will be asked to take an aptitude test at the interview
- We’re looking for someone who is hungry
