Recruiting Program & Employer Relations:
- Administer recruitment program offering on and off campus opportunities for graduating seniors and masters' students in business and arts & sciences disciplines.
- Serve as the primary contact for recruiting inquiries, manages the scheduling of recruiting visits and related employer programs.
- Cultivate employer relationships and key recruiting partnerships, conducts proactive employer outreach via traditional and social media methods.
- Facilitate employer requests to build collaborations with faculty, students and university partners to strengthen partnerships and maximize student employment outcomes.
- Works with the Manager of Internship Programs and the Manager of Employer Outreach and Development to implement a comprehensive employer relations and development plan.
- Meet with regional and national employers and alumni; attend career fairs, networking and alumni events, and professional conferences.

Advising and Counseling:
- Counsel students and alumni on career development and comprehensive job search strategies, including the use of LinkedIn, Twitter and other social media tools.
Workshops and Events:
- Develop and lead student workshops on a wide variety of job search and social media topics.
- Plan and implement Career Fairs and events for students and employers.
- Present at university events and classes.

Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop newsletters, flyers, and program materials for students and employers for email, Web and social media.
Technology:
- Oversees online recruitment system, including system enhancements, troubleshooting and vendor relations.
- Work with employer relations team for implementation of technology for employer development and tracking.
- Develop web page and social media content for job search strategies and employer relations.
Assessment and Reporting:
- Oversee tracking of recruiting and survey data; prepare reports for director and university constituents.
Supervision:
- Oversee the Recruiting Assistant and student workers in the effective implementation of the recruiting program, marketing activities and services to students and employers.

Qualifications

- An undergraduate degree; Masters degree in higher education or related area preferred.

- Minimum of three years of professional experience in career services, recruiting and employer relations.

- In-depth knowledge of career advising and job search strategies, industry and hiring trends, job search resources and research tools including social media.

- Project/event management, organizational skills and attention to detail; Excellent customer service focus, networking and interpersonal skills, and professional demeanor

- High proficiency in oral, written, presentation and research skills

- Ability to communicate and work effectively with career center staff, administrators, faculty and alumni. Energetic, motivated and collaborative work style.

- Ability to work in a high volume environment with changing priorities.

- Ability to build collaborative relations with employers in a variety of industries.

- Experience with eRecruiting or other recruitment management systems

- Proficient in Microsoft applications, social media and internet research

- Willingness to travel and work evening hours as necessary
