Ballston Spa National Bank is seeking a Mortgage Operations Supervisor to join our Retail Lending Department. This individual will be responsible for the supervision and development of the Mortgage Operations staff, primarily focused on the underwriting and processing functions from the time of application to close. The Mortgage Operations Supervisor will oversee and participate in day to day activities to insure accurate, timely, and professional support for the residential loan area to meet or exceed bank and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have three to five years supervisory experience in the residential lending area, banking-specific training, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred; will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Underwriting experience preferred; DE designation a plus. Computer literacy required with core banking, mortgage processing, and CRA system. Demonstrated attention to detail required, as well as the ability to work independently. Must be well versed in regulatory requirements and have the highest standards of customer service.
