Description
- Provide support to Managers, Supervisors, Account Project Managers, and Senior Project Specialists with various duties including, but not limited to, pending collocation applications, re-approvals, notices to proceed (NTPs), rights of first refusal (ROFRs), project set up, and processing purchase orders (POs).
- Reviews and audits all site information from customer collocation applications to verify accuracy of information on the application or in Online Application database, including equipment manufacturer specifications.
- Analyzes and audits asset information to ensure appropriate heights and/or equipment are selected and adhere to any regulatory or contractual obligations related to the asset.
- Create equipment load lists by populating all required information in equipment database after thoroughly reviewing existing contracts to determine allowed equipment; provides corrected and completed load lists to Engineering for structural analysis.
- Identifies the need for updated site data information and/or site photos and communicates the need to the Network Operations team via the field team’s dispatching system.
- Identifies lease discrepancies of installed equipment and works with the Asset Integrity Team to recognize possible run rate increases and back billing.
- Processes closeout requests and audits installations for complete accuracy, including ground space reviews.
- Responsible for data validation in the asset equipment database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Orders structural analyses, shared site interface studies (SSIS), field verified loadings (FVL) and site sketches during the approval process, when required.
- Determines whether regulatory issues exist and works with compliance teams to resolve.
- Determines need for right of first refusal (ROFR) and availability of ground space.
- Reviews all pertinent documentation to issue an NTP including but not limited to construction drawings (CDs), building permits (BPs), and scope of work (SOW) and compares them to the executed contracts to ensure compliance and identify the need for a corrective amendment to capture discrepancies
- Ability to work with functional groups and different levels of employees throughout the American Tower organization to effectively and professionally achieve business results
- Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs as needed
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment
- Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors.
- Self-motivated, able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize resources and knowledge in identifying high quality solutions.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
Qualifications
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience required
- Telecom industry experience preferred
- Experience in project management with focus on data integrity and process improvement preferred.
- Experience interpreting legal documents including real estate leases and contracts preferred.
