Description
- Serve as liaison and residence life contact for the local college
- Respond to emergency situations on a 24 hour basis
- Ensures proper security protocols are in place and followed
- Be familiar with College Suites Rules and Regulations
- Respond to and resolve walk-in and phone requests of residents, parents and community
- Respond to student inquiries and needs
- Resolve student roommate differences
- Assists with planned resident events as needed
- Assist Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager with marketing events
- Assist the Office with its daily, weekly and monthly leasing and retention goals
- General office work including filing, answering phones and customer service
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required, with a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration or College Student Development preferred
- Prior Resident Assistant experience helpful
- Background in supervision, crisis intervention and student development desired
- Strong organizational, management and teamwork skills
- Solid administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds required
- Required to live on site
