Description
We have a small team currently developing a communication platform that includes a custom-developed multi-party VoIP calling component deployed to desktop and mobile device clients. We have a preliminary software-based AEC engine and we need to bring on an expert to help finish implementation/tuning of the AEC engine, integrate with current components, and evolve the DSP area of the platform.
We're a small company developing technology associated with media streaming and communication technologies, data privacy, data security, online identity privacy, wireless networking, large-scale distributed systems, and related technologies. Our work is focused on implementing technology that will help create safe, ethical, and entrepreneurial real-world communities around the world.
RESPONSIBLIITES
- Review current AEC plan and base implementation and write up feedback, recommendations, specifications
- Development of v1.0 of AEC module
- Ongoing refinement of AEC performance across all platforms
- Algorithm optimization, performance analysis, and improvement
- Integration and tuning of module with multiple multimedia components
Qualifications
- Experience implementing for desktop and mobile platforms (Windows, OSX, Android, iOS)
- Experience with Speex and other popular codecs/libraries/etc.
- Production-level experience with Java, C, C++, Assembly-level programming languages
- Experience with voice recognition technologies a big plus
