Description
- Development and implementation of multi-tiered data storage, analysis, access and search system
- Work with core application and interface teams to integrate search/data functionality with UI/UX
- Development of non-traditional architecture implementation/solutions for data infrastructure system
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years experience developing enterprise-level applications for distributed systems
- 2-4 years experience with large-scale Hadoop clusters
- 2-4 years experience with large-scale MySQL implementations
- Demonstrable experience rolling out high-availability, high-volume systems
DESIRED
- Experience developing in Java, JVM scripting languages, C/C++, C# in a production environment
- Experience with Amazon web services: EC2, S3, and EMR (Elastic Map Reduce)
- Demonstrated open-source contribution
- Experience with Git, Maven, Eclipse, and JUnit all highly valued
