Description
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Processing all work orders and trouble tickets through the Tele-management database system
- Programming voice mailboxes, long distance codes and customer billing database
- Functioning as project coordinator -- schedule, coordinate and track telephone and data related work and trouble ticket activity with the customer(s) and telephone and data technicians
- Provide telephone, voicemail, authorization code and data access training on an as needed basis
- Coordinate and manage the installation of telephone and data services for building construction projects
- Provide University switchboard operator support on an as needed basis
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
- One year Telecommunication customer service experience
- Customer service experience is to include working with a variety of customers and/or vendors, independently consulting with customers to determine their needs, provisioning of services through completion, acting as the customer’s single point of contact
- Minimum 1 year computer experience with Microsoft software
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (written skills will be assessed by application materials submitted)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years Telecommunications customer service experience
- One year data network customer service experience
