Appointed to Union College on September 1, 2008, Steve has worked for more than 30 years in public relations and fundraising for institutions such as MIT, Boston College, Johns Hopkins University, Philadelphia University and the State of New Jersey. His expertise is in campaign management, senior officer/board support, organizational development, and marketing, having worked on six campaigns to date, including a $2 billion effort at MIT. He holds a B.A. in Communications from Rowan University as well as an M.A. from Rowan in Educational Public Relations.

My Union Story:
"After working for large organizations my entire career, and after talking to President Ainlay about his vision for Union, I felt the mission of the College, its history and the opportunity to live and work in a much more intimate atmosphere was something I was looking for. And I have not been disappointed. The College Relations staff is smart, hardworking and incredibly devoted to Union. Our alumni, parents and friends are engaged in Union like never before. Getting to see our students and faculty on a daily basis on campus gives me the opportunity to learn something new all the time. My wife Rosemary and I live by the campus and have invited many alumni, students and faculty to our home and shared in the strong sense of community here. And of course, nothing is better than walking down the street to a football game and watching the Dutchmen beat RPI!"
