My Union Story: Union truly is an exhilarating place to work. No sterile, cookie-cutter cubicle culture here, the place teems with ideas and enthusiasms of every stripe (and every now and then a strongly held opinion or two). I especially love that the College is so steeped in history, yet has the vision and fortitude to explore ways towards greater relevance in the 21st century and beyond.
My perfect Union day: Strolling across campus during a crisp fall day followed by heady conversation and breaking bread with students, faculty and colleagues.
Me? I've spent my professional career in new media development for a variety of media outlets. First there was the Christian Science Monitor, and then came Masslive.com. After that was WBUR, an NPR-station owned by Boston University. There I got an opportunity to meet the Car Talk guys and can personally testify that yes, they really are like that in person.
