GARNET: Primary color
This color is used interchangeably for our logo and within applications. For materials intended to be “Union garnet,” PMS 202 (see right) is the only acceptable color. However, please be aware that the paper or material used for the project can alter the appearance of the garnet color. If in doubt, seek advice from a professional designer or printer on how the color will look on the finished product.
Although this is the primary color for Union College, it does not need to be the predominant color in all communications. Complementary colors may be used as needed. The complementary color palette may be chosen at the discretion of the individual designer in conjunction with the Union client and the objective of the specific project or piece.
