Outreach Presentations & Workshops

The Counseling Center staff believes in the importance of offering educational programs right where students, faculty and staff work and live. We offer a variety of workshops and discussion groups, and can coordinate a time and place for a workshop to take place. Some examples of outreach topics include: diversity, eating disorders/body image, weight management, relationships, sexual assault and sexual assault prevention, sexuality, stress management, substance abuse, career issues, time management, depression, suicide awareness, assertiveness, study skills, overcoming procrastination, self-esteem building and LGBTQ-related issues. To request a workshop or outreach presentation for a certain group, or to suggest an outreach topic, please contact the Center.
