General Counseling Services
Counseling services provided by our clinicians include: individual & group counseling, communication and relationship skill development, drug/alcohol and health education, relaxation training for anxiety, and training/consultation for students, staff, and faculty on how to recognize and respond to students who may be at serious risk.
Do you need a breather from the fast pace of everyday life? Perhaps you need a quiet spot for meditation, reflection, or just to relax. If so, call (518) 388-6161 to reserve our relaxation room.
Visiting Script Clinic
Our psychiatric nurse practitioner, Lois Lambrinos, is available every other Friday for students needing psychotropic medicines.
**Though appointments are free of charge, a "No-Show" fee of $35 for intake appointments or $25 for follow-up appointments will be billed to students' tuition for any appointment not canceled by the close of business on the day prior to the appointment (due to high demand of services).**
**Effective 9/1/13: Lois Lambrinos, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, will NOT perform an initial diagnosis for ADHD/ADD. Therefore, she will NOT prescribe stimulant based drugs (i.e. Adderall) without a pre-existing diagnosis for ADHD/ADD. Medical records will be required.**
