Angela Stefanatos, FNP-BC
Director
Angela is a Nurse Practitioner certified in both Family Practice and Acute Care by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds a Master of Science from Sage Graduate School in Troy, N.Y. She is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association in New York State as well as the American College Health Association. Angela has worked in the hospital setting and spent the past 10 years providing primary care in her community in Columbia County, N.Y. In her free time, she enjoys camping, golfing, and reading. She has two children.
Susan Manchester, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner
Susan is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds a Master of Science from Rutgers University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and a member of the New York State College Health Association and American College Health Association. She also serves as the Laboratory Director, ensuring compliance with New York State regulations. She enjoys reading, yoga and cooking and is a lacrosse mom and avid lacrosse spectator.
Christine Calistri, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner
Chris is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds a Master of Science from Sage Graduate School. She is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Chris has experience in emergency treatment and urgent care settings and has also served on active duty as a Nurse Corps Officer in the United States Navy for six years. She played Varsity Field Hockey for Union as an undergraduate. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children skiing, kayaking, and running with her dog, Scout.
Anne Connors, RN
Registered Nurse
Ann is a Registered Nurse working full-time for the UC Health Center. She has been a nurse for 27 years and has experience in many areas, including family health, medical/surgical nursing, cardiac care, women's health, community health outreach and college health nursing. She received her AAS in Nursing from Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, N.Y., and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester School of Nursing. She is a certified SPIN and RPM instructor and enjoys reading, the ocean and winter skiing. She has three children.
Barbara Michaelis
Administrative Assistant
Barbara is a full-time Administrative Assistant. She came to the UC Health Center from the St. Peter's Ambulatory Care Unit, and was previously at the American Red Cross Apheresis Unit. Barb performs all of the administrative functions, scheduling, and billing for both the UC Health Center and the UC Counseling Center. In addition to doing whatever she can for her Union kids, Barb is a retired Army spouse that travels weekends following her three kids with college soccer and high school baseball.
Anita Brudos, RN
Registered Nurse
Anita is a graduate of Ellis Hospital School of Nursing and HVCC. She works part time here at the UC Health Center and part time in the Emergency Department at Ellis Hospital. Anita is married with 2 children, 14 cows, 13 chickens, a dog and a cat.
Dr. Vincent Zeccola
Collaborating Physician
Dr. Zeccola has been affiliated with the UC Health Center for 20 years. He currently serves as the Collaborating Physician for the Nurse Practitioners, who provide the bulk of the primary care in the the UC Health Center. Dr. Zeccola is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, is a graduate of Yale University, and earned his M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania. He has held a variety of leadership positions in the Schenectady Medical Community and volunteered at the Schenectady Free Clinic. Dr. Zeccola has practiced Emergency Medicine full-time for 32 years. He has special interest in asthma and infectious diseases.
Diane Pietrocarlo RD, CSSD, CDN
Dietitian
Diane is a Registered Dietitian, New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist, and is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She has had a successful private practice for 23 years and has been practicing in the field for more than 30 years. She is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology's Coordinated Undergraduate Program in Nutrition & Dietetics. Diane's struggle with and recovery from an eating disorder led her to the field of dietetics. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. Diane also enjoys working with recreational and competitive athletes of all ages. Diane is an avid dancer, walker, and yoga practitioner. She is married to a runner and is the mother of two daughters who played competitive basketball and volleyball in high school and at the Division I and II levels in college.
