Grade E1 - Salary Commensurate with Experience
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Financial Analysis and Budget, the successful candidate must be able to think analytically and work independently on projects. This position offers growth opportunities for a self starter who is highly motivated. The specific responsibilities include financial analysis and monitoring, financial reporting, cash management, debt management, endowment and plant fund accounting functions, inputting budgetary information into model, surveys, reconciliations with Records Department, fixed assets, and special projects.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required along with 2 to 5 years experience, preferably in the not for profit sector and/or public accounting area, CPA and/or MBA preferred. Must be able to work independently on projects with limited supervision, think analytically/creatively, and possess strong computer/software knowledge using worksheets (EXCEL) and Word. * Union expects a vacancy within the next 3-6 months and is interested in hearing from qualified candidates who have some flexibility regarding desired start date.
