Summary
The Dining Service Lead follows Sodexho and HACCP guidelines while performing all supervisory jobs in the kitchen and dining room areas. Responsibilities include: - Opening and closing the kitchen - Supervising and assisting morning set up with staff - Cooking and or baking duties for daily operation - Organizing and ordering of a variety of foods from a number vendors - Assisting manager with production meetings - Handling all serving aspects during meal times - Training or assisting new employees - Handling managerial tasks in the absence of managers - Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions. A two year degree in Culinary Arts or Dining Service Administration preferred. Appropriate field experience acceptable.
