Monday-Friday, 4pm - 9pm | 25 hours/week | 35 weeks/year | |
Summary
The Dining Service Worker performs general kitchen, cash handling, and customer service duties including: - Setting up all Dining Service lines, including but not limited to, the deli, salad bar and soup stations - Washing and peeling vegetables - Slicing deli meat on automatic slicer - Serving customers - Replenishing service lines when needed - Breaking down and storing all foods after line closes for meal periods - Cleaning and sanitizing equipment - Performing all cash handling procedures per college policy - Swiping student meal cards - Helping clear, clean, and properly equip tables - Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping dining halls - Operating the dish machine - Removing trash and placing it in designated containers - Washing pots, pans, and cooking utensils - Performing other duties as directed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions.
