Recycling Coordinator

Full Time - Benefit Eligible

Grade M03, $10.50 per hour

Monday - Friday, 5 am - 1:30 pm

40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Summary

The Recycling Coordinator will be responsible for the daily operation of the campus recycling program. Responsibilities will include: communicating with all departments/organizations on campus to promote the recycling program, coordinating/scheduling pick ups, working with outside vendors for the removal of all recyclables, attending seminars to improve recycling knowledge, keeping up to date with the New York State recycling laws, assisting cleaners during slower periods, and assisting with set-ups, cleaning, etc. for major campus events.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Must have solid understanding of the recycling portion of New York State's Executive Order No. 142, and possess a valid New York State Driver's License. Must be a self starter with the ability to work independently and as a team player.
