Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 3:30 pm | 40 hours/week, 30 weeks/yr | ||
Summary
Operates motorized and manual equipment related to grounds maintenance, responsible for all aspects of ground maintenance. Duties include renovation of existing turf grass areas, general mowing and grooming of College properties, planting and maintenance of trees and shrubs, leaf removal, garbage and trash removal from outside of building structures, snow removal from walkways, roadways and parking lots using, snow plows, shovels, snow blowers salting/sanding as needed, other duties as assigned. During emergency situations will be required to work in the event of personnel shortage.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. One year of field related experience or a two year college degree in any related grounds maintenance discipline. Valid New York State Driver's license required.
