Angela Tatem has been at the Kenney Community Center since 2003. She currently directs Community Outreach and the STEP Program (since 2008). She received her MBA from Union Graduate College. She was a participant in the Union College STEP Program (Science and Technology Entry Program) as a middle and high school student. She is from Schenectady, NY and is married to a Union alum! Angela is a member of the Heavenly Liturgical Dance ministry, Unitas, and serves as advisor to two clubs: COCOA House (Children of Our Community Open to Achievement), and Change for Schenectady. Angela’s favorite thing about working at Union College is the relationships and friendships she has established with students, faculty, and staff. The students here have a huge heart for helping out the community, and it is a privilege to represent young people who are passionate about making someone's life a little better. In her spare time, Angela enjoys taking her Pit Bull Terrier to the park, volunteering with Out of the Pits (a pit bull rescue organization), Alpha Pregnancy Care Center, the Schenectady YMCA, Schenectady County Working Group on Girls' Girls Circle Program, and her church's children and teen programs.
