Meredith Adamo

Major/minor: Biology major; Double minor in Anthropology and Spanish
Career Interests: Pre-med with specific interest in international health.
Activities: Writing Center Tutor, Union Tour Guide; active in numerous campus clubs.
Personal: Meredith was an international youth exchange student in Italy for a year before coming to Union, and she will be studying abroad in Costa Rica during the winter/spring terms.

Rhea Howard
Class: 2014
Hometown: West Stockbridge, MA
Major/Minor: Double major in Psychology and Political Science
Career Interests: Plans to pursue a PhD in Counseling Psychology
Activities: Outdoor Club; Women’s crew Team, Debate team
Personal: Loves anything outdoors!

Hilary Salander
Class: 2012
Hometown: Barrington, RI
Major/Minor: Psychology major
Career Interests: At this point in my life, like many, I am not entirely sure what I would like to do once I graduate. I imagine I will go to graduate school for either psychology or business.
Activities: Interested in visual arts; plays lacrosse on the Union women’s team; Kenney Community Center volunteer.
Tip for Success: “I believe that in order to be successful it is imperative to always carry yourself with confidence, no matter what you do, and this includes your schoolwork. I enjoy sharing my experiences in organization and planning techniques as I have a lot of background in learning how to balance schoolwork and other activities such as playing a sport.”
Erin Whitney
Class: 2012
Hometown: Wilbraham, MA
Major/Minor: Mathematics major with a minor in Philosophy.
Career Interests: Plans to pursue Law and use her degree to work for the government.
Activities: Co-president of the Scholars’ Steering Committee, one of the founding members of the Math Club, and a Student Ambassador.
Personal: Lives in the Culinary House. Studied abroad in Galway, Ireland during Fall, 2010 term.
Tip for Success: “I feel that studying abroad is an opportunity that allows students to make the most of their liberal arts education by exploring a new culture and taking classes not offered here at Union. If possible, I think every student should take advantage of Union’s international programs.”
