Especially for Families
» First-Year Orientation. Facilitate both your and your student's transition to college. Stop by the Parents' Association table in the Nott Memorial to talk with other parents, gather handouts, bookstore coupons and shopping directions, and learn more about how you can participate on and off campus.
» Homecoming & Family Weekend. The on-campus festive fall weekend of tours, performances, panel discussions, music, hayrides, great sports and other events for students and family members of all ages.
» Steinmetz Symposium. Each spring Union showcases advancements made by student researchers through oral, dance, music, art and poster sessions with a primary focus on senior capstone projects and thesis work.
» Commencement. Join your graduate to honor their accomplishments. Plan ahead – the next commencement ceremonies are scheduled for June 12, 2011, June 10, 2012 and June 16, 2013.

» Alumni / Parent / Friend events. Union's Alumni Relations office welcomes alumni, parents and friends to participate in programs planned in and around Schenectady as well as in your backyard. Events are added frequently, so check back often! Please register online directly through the Alumni Office.
