What do you eat? Many Americans have very little knowledge regarding their food choices and their consumption patterns. Why is it that a two-year old child begs her mother to buy her candy that she has never even seen or tasted before just because Shrek is on the package? For my research project I looked at a number of different topics regarding people’s food choices, including: fast food, social class and taste, food marketing to children, labeling, and the food chemical industry. I reviewed a number of sources and conducted two surveys I created during the course of this project.
