| FACULTY WORKSHOP GREAT SUCCESS Our most ambitious project during this academic year was a workshop for faculty entitled "Promoting Faculty Diversity." Thirty-five faculty and staff attended the workshop designed to facilitate discussion on hiring and retaining a diverse faculty. Carolyn Turner, Ph.D., Research Coordinator of Faculty Programs in the Office of the Associate Vice President for Multicultural and Academic Affairs; and Associate Professor, Educational Policy and Administration, at the University of Minnesota was guest speaker. Faculty response to the program was extremely positive, and dialogues will continue on these important issues.
