Why did you choose Union?
Throughout my college search, I was consistently interested in small schools that would work well with my preferred learning style. I wanted an academic experience that would allow me to collaborate with both my classmates and professors consistently. Stepping on to Union’s campus was a powerful experience for me, as I saw a potential school that could fit my interests both academically and socially. Personally, my rich ties to this school run deep, as my grandfather, great uncles, mother, aunt, and uncle all attended Union. I will never forget walking past Alumni Gym and announcing to my parents that Union was the right school for me; the emotional and prideful look in my mother’s eye has resonated with me since.
How do you describe Union to your friends and family?

Union is a school that pushes students to their fullest potential both in and outside the classroom. Faculty create a proactive learning environment by challenging students to pursue their passions. Personally, Union is a place where students of all different backgrounds say hello as they pass each other walking to class. It allows students to find themselves during a crucial time in their lives and provides support to achieve a variety of goals.
