Why did you choose Union: My first time visiting Union was a sweltering day in mid-August. Even with a practically empty campus, I immediately felt a connection here. Several things set Union apart from other campuses for me,especially its tight-knit community. The Minerva program and all its possibilities were incredibly attractive, and I also loved the flexibility that Interdepartmental and Organizing Theme majors offered as I came into Union unsure of what I wanted to study.

Favorite professor: Bradley Hays in the Political Science department. I’ve taken two classes with him for my minor and loved his energy and his passion, particularly for constitutional law, which only fueled my interest in the subject.
Favorite class: "The Dance Experience" with Professor Miryam Moutillet. My biggest discovery at Union was finding my love of dance. This class allowed me to learn the basics of choreography, choreograph and perform my own solo, and dance in a group piece.
Favorite activity: Performing with Bhangra Union at the annual Steinmetz Symposium dance show
Favorite place on campus: Henle Dance Pavilion. Whether I’m doing homework or dancing in the studio, it’s such a calming and beautiful space.
