Tours and Information Sessions

The Office of Admissions is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and on select Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. We are located in Grant Hall (yellow building with white pillars), which is the third building on the right inside the main entrance on Union Street (Payne Gate).

The visit experience begins with an admissions dean leading a group information session for prospective students and their families. Next, student volunteers give tours of the campus that typically last 75 minutes. 

If you are able, please let us know in advance that you are coming. Visitors are always welcome with or without an appointment.

The information session and campus tour are offered as one combined visit experience lasting approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Groups of 10 or more should contact Lilia Tiemann by calling (518) 388-6112 or via email at admissions@union.edu. We can only accommodate school groups on weekdays.

Self-Guided Tours

If you visit campus when the office is closed, look for the "Self-Guided Walking Tour" and other brochures by the front door. Please let us know you stopped at Union by filling out our visitor card.
