Union College Parent, Alumni in Residence (PAIR) Program

The Union College Career Center's Parent, Alumni in Residence (PAIR) program is a way to engage with Union students and assist with preparing them for the future of work. We invite you to mentor, present on a topic, facilitate discussions, workshops and/or a combination thereof. The program allows for flexibility including in-person or virtual meetings, and group presentations or meetings with individual students, or both.

Please complete this form to volunteer your experience and/or expertise in support of Union students! We will be in touch with you to discuss next steps. Union College Parent, Alumni in Residence (PAIR Program) Volunteer Form

Contribute jobs and/or internships

Provide Union students with the opportunity to work for U. If your organization is in need of interns or entry-level hires, we can post your positions in our Handshake database, which houses opportunities specifically targeted for Union students. Looking for an experienced hire? We can post that too; Union alumni can access Handshake to search for jobs as well.

For full-time positions or internships, email Rochelle Caruso (carusor@union.edu).

Be your student's biggest cheerleader

Students often need a little encouragement to engage in the career planning process. While it is tempting to want to do the work for them, students need to develop their independence and confidence, so that they can effectively solve problems they encounter. We ask that you be supportive of your students and encourage them to connect with our office, attend programs/events, and take advantage of the services and resources that we offer.
