FAQs

  • Will Union host ReUnion on campus this year?

We will postpone ReUnion, and are focusing our efforts on a combined ReUnion and Homecoming & Family Weekend, October 23-25, 2020. We will keep many ReUnion traditions while introducing new and exciting events and programs. Questions: alumni@union.edu .

  • Will Union have Commencement on campus for the Class of 2020?

The long-established tradition of Commencement at Union is rich and strong, a time to celebrate our graduating seniors and our entire community of learning. We are making every effort to hold Commencement for the Class of 2020. But we are also mindful of the health and safety of the entire Union community, those on campus as well as our many family members and friends. Union will follow the guidance of local and federal health officials to determine the safest course of action.

Among the options to be considered are a full ceremony, a limited ceremony, a virtual ceremony or postponement. Union College will celebrate the Commencement of the Class of 2020, in whatever form is safe and appropriate.

Because we appreciate the degree of planning necessary for those traveling to Commencement, we will make a decision on Commencement as soon as possible.

  • Will Union be hosting alumni events on campus or in different regions in the near future?

Union has cancelled our regional and on-campus events through May. We have postponed our NYC campaign event to October 9. We will reassess other planned events on an individual basis.
