Davis Projects for Peace

Sponsor: Davis Foundation

Purpose:  Davis Projects for Peace, is an invitation to undergraduates at the American colleges and universities in the Davis United World College Scholars Program to design grassroots projects that they will implement during the summer. The projects judged to be the most promising and feasible will be funded at $10,000 each. The objective is to encourage and support today’s motivated youth to create and try out their own ideas for building peace.

Opportunity: A $10,000 grant to complete a grassroots project over the summer that you design to promote peace either domestically or abroad (country must not be of the State Department’s Travel Warning List)

Citizenship requirements: All eligible

Additional requirements: Must be an enrolled, full time undergraduate at Union College

National deadline:  early to mid-February

Campus deadline:  early January
