Angela Tatem joined the Kenney Community Center in 2003. She currently directs Community Outreach and the Science and Technology Entry Program aka STEP (since 2008). She received her MBA from Union Graduate College. She was a participant in the Union College STEP Program as a middle and high school student. She is from Schenectady, NY and is married to a Union alum! Angela is a member of Unitas and serves as adviser to the Empty Bowls Project of Schenectady. Angela’s favorite thing about working at Union College is the relationships and friendships she has established with students, faculty, and staff. The students here have a huge heart for helping the community, and it is a privilege to represent young people who are passionate about making someone's life a little better. In her spare time, Angela enjoys taking her Pit Bull Terrier to the park, volunteering with Out of the Pits (a pit bull rescue organization), the Cohoes Connect Center for Youth, teaching Financial Peace University, and volunteering as a mentor with the Schenectady County Working Group on Girls' High School Girls Circle Program.
