UNITAS fosters community and diversity at Union by supporting groups and individuals who create events and educational opportunities that foster both. Students, staff, administrators, and faculty who have new ideas about how to increase and celebrate diversity and promotion of community at Union may apply for a Unitas grant to make their idea become a reality. Membership is open to all members of the Union community (Students, Alum, Faculty, Staff).
Every other week UNITAS meets during common hour lunch to plan events, support one another, discuss events and happenings on campus that pertain to its mission and goals, and discuss co-sponsorship with other groups and community members. Bimonthly meetings for FALL 2019 start Wednesday Sept 18 and the last meeting for FALL 2019 will be Wednesday November 13 and take place in the Campus Center UNITY Lounge, RCC 305.
