The eleventh Mohawk Watershed Symposium will be held on Friday 22 March 2019 at College Park Hall.
This symposium has helped shape science and policy here in the Mohawk basin and elsewhere in NY State. The meeting will highlight recent and ongoing work in the watershed through oral and poster presentations in a one-day symposium at College Park Hall.
We welcome poster and oral abstracts focused on water quality, watershed hydrology, fisheries, climate change, flooding, and other topics related to the Mohawk watershed. A theme this year is Infrastructure in the watershed and how that infrastructure affects water quality and ecosystems.
The keynote address will be by Hon Antonio Delgado, US House of Representatives (NY 19th) who serves on the Transportation and Infrastructure committee. Other invited speakers address dams, fish passage, and flooding.
Abstracts are due: 22 February 2019
Registration deadline: 8 March 2019
