Hema Achanta (GE Global Research)

In the first part of the talk, I will give a brief review of the evolution of the field
of controls from ancient controls to today’s optimization based adaptive and
optimal controls. The second part of the talk will focus on the advent of artificial
intelligence and its influence on current trends in data driven controls. The
third part of the talk will focus on the evolution of interesting computational
challenges and trends in quantum control problems.

Keywords: Modern Controls, Reinforcement Learning, Data Driven Controls,
Quantum Controls
