Join your UCALL friends for a special opportunity to attend a wonderful concert by the Brentano Quartet.
The Brentano Quartet returns to Union on Sunday, November 3rd at 3 pm for the second and final part of their collaboration with MacArthur grant-winning composer Matthew Aucoin. In addition to masterworks of Mozart and Ravel, the group will perform the world premiere of a newly-commissioned work by Aucoin before the quartet plays it in Carnegie Hall. The series is pleased to welcome back the Provost and Dean of The Juilliard School Ara Guzelimian to moderate a pre-concert discussion onstage at 2 pm with Aucoin and Brentano violinist Mark Steinberg. Their discussion for the first commission in April 2018 was enthralling and welcomed over 650 people. Doors will open at 1:45pm.
