Do you have a research project with data that you don’t quite know what to do with? Do you need a little help in thinking about how to organize and structure your data so your analysis runs as smoothly as possible? Do you like spreadsheets? This workshop will discuss best practices for how to structure and manage your research data. We will cover topics like best practices for file naming, how to best place your data in the cells, rows, and columns of a spreadsheet, and creating a data dictionary for the long term preservation of your project and its data.
