THE CREATOR'S INTERSECTION:
ART, LIFE, & PLAYWRITING -
WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

A MASTER CLASS SERIES

THE CREATOR'S INTERSECTION encourages participants to explore the connections between art, life, and playwriting to reach a deeper understanding of themselves and their environment. Theatre techniques based in Lucid Body Movement, Meditation, Visualization, Method Acting, and Writing Prompts are employed to tether out the symbolism in shared experiences. The impact of theatre can overwhelm an audience to action or awaken latent potential within a clouded mind. This course is an application that can be applied to a variety of environments, but in its cohesiveness illustrates the unity found in the voice of the artist and the world around them.

ALEXANDRIA DANIELLE KING is an actor, writer, educator, youth advocate, director, choreographer, and nature enthusiast. She received her BA in Drama from Tufts University and advanced theatre training certification from the Moscow Arts Theatre School. She believes that performance art is a divine tool for revealing and examining the condition of the heart. As an educator, she has taught with Outward-Bound, Boston Arts Academy, New Repertory Theatre, Boston Public Schools, Special Music School NYC, Clearwater, and The Classical Theatre of Harlem. Some of her previous acting credits include: Nya in Pipeline (WAM & Central Square Theater), Antigone in Antigone (Classical Theatre of Harlem), Chelle in Detroit '67 (New Horizon Theatre), Lorraine Hansberry in Sighted Eyes/Feeling Heart (PBS American Masters).
