The unprovoked attack on Ukraine by Russia five weeks ago has sparked outrage and near universal condemnation from countries around the world. The dramatic images and accounts from Ukraine have affected us all and provide a stark reminder of the tenuous nature of peace in many parts of the world.
Consistent with the College's mission, the Office of the President and the Office for Academic Affairs are pleased to co-sponsor a panel discussion on Monday, April 4 to help our community better understand the historical context and global implications of the conflict in Ukraine, featuring a trio of scholars with expertise in this region of the world. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.
President Harris will provide opening remarks and Michele Angrist, Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty, will moderate the discussion.
