Admitted Student Pre-Open House Evening Program

April 3, 2022 4:00 PM–8:30 PM

Make Union Yours! We invite admitted students and parents to join us for a few hours of fun the night before our Open House on Monday, April 4. This will be a great chance to connect with other admitted students and their families.

  • Pre-registration is required for this event, and all visitors will need to follow Union's current COVID-19 precautions and visitor requirements.
  • We recommend business casual attire for parents, casual attire for students, and comfortable walking shoes for all!
  • Please allow extra time for parking and check-in before your first event.

Although we are unable to provide overnight accommodations, there are a variety of hotel options in our area. Please inquire with the following hotels in Schenectady about special Union College rates: DoubleTree by Hilton (or use code 0003328119), Hampton Inn by Hilton, Courtyard Marriott Mohawk Harbor and Homewood Suites by Hilton.

Registration Opens for Campus Tour

Check in with us and pick up your materials for the evening, if you have pre-registered for the Campus Tour (departing promptly at 4:00 pm).

View campus with one of our student guides (choose on your pre-registration form) or explore on your own with our Guidebook audio tour app. Due to COVID precautions, unfortunately residence halls are excluded from our tours at this time.

5:30 pm

Registration & Reception for Parents

College Park Hall

Check in with us and pick up your materials for the evening, if you didn't take the Campus Tour. Students will prepare to leave for their activities, while parents may attend a pre-dinner reception.

6:00 pm

For Students: Dinner & Icebreakers with current Union students

Meet current students, who will help you get to know your Class of 2026!

For Parents: Dinner with Union community members

Dine with faculty, community leaders and parents of current students while meeting other admitted families.

For Parents: Parent-to-Parent Conversations

Hear from current parents about the Union experience and ask all of your questions.
