Women’s History Month Wall Project

March 1-31, 2023
A graphic that says International Women's Day

Faculty, staff and students from departments, classes and clubs across campus created the Women’s History Month Wall Project. It celebrates the great women who have contributed to various disciplines, either through their scholarly achievements or through their inspirational work. The project also recognizes the bravery and determination of these women, and the hurdles they overcame.

Stop by participating departments throughout March to view their installations, which consist of wall posters celebrating influential women. Collages and mosaics showcasing multiple departments will also be on display in Olin rotunda, Feigenbaum Center for Visual Arts, Yulman Theater, Wold Center and ISEC.

Participants include Geosciences, Biology; Chemistry; Physics and Astronomy; Mathematics; History; Electrical and Computer Engineering; Classics; English; Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies; Women in Economics/Economics Club; Philosophy; Political Science (Pi Sigma Alpha students); Theater and Dance; Visual Arts, Music; Psychology; Health Care Professions; Athletics; International Programs and Mechanical Engineering.
