A tutor at the Kenney Center for students in the Science and Technology Entry Program since her freshman year, Pirwani is also a founding member of the Student Volunteer Committee, as well as a Resident Advisor in College Park Hall. In addition, she visits children at Pathways Rehabilitation Center in Niskayuna. She recently led an SVC group in a Saturday flood cleanup in the Stockade area, and she will next be visiting Glendale Nursing Home as apart of John Calvin Toll Day of Service.
“Neha has been one of our very best tutors. She not only teaches the subject well, but she teaches her students how to study and organize their time. She is a great asset to the Kenney Center,” said Janet Sweeney, program director of the center.
Originally from Chicago, Pirwani plans on majoring in biology and political science. She is also in the Leadership in Medicine Program.
