African craft boutique to benefit women and children

An international craft boutique will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Friday in Reamer Campus Center.

The sale will feature unique hand crafted gift items from Africa, including jewelry, baskets, beaded items, serving pieces, scarves and much more.

All of the proceeds will be donated to The Gift of Hope, a group founded by Lauren Cohen '78. The organization provides support to women and children in South Africa living with HIV and AIDS. The group is a partnering organization with Union's Minerva Fellowship program, and Rahul Puttagunta '14 recently returned to campus following his ten-month placement working closely with The Gift of Hope.
