Two faculty members are included in the March/April issue of Women@Work, a publication of the Times Union.

The issue focuses on STEM education.

Rebecca Cortez, associate professor of mechanical engineering and director of undergraduate research, is among the 10 Capital Region women in science and technology sure to inspire.

Valerie Barr, professor of computer science and chair of ACM-W, the Association for Computing Machinery Council on Women in Computing, discusses gender disparity in the workforce.
