Tommaso Gazzarri, assistant professor of classics, is now a guest columnist for Il Fatto Quotidiano, the third largest newspaper in Italy. He will write columns on classical antiquity and life in the United States. You can find his first column here. 

Several prizes were awarded to Union faculty and staff at the 38th annual Photo Regional Art Exhibition. Frank Rapant ’07, photography lab technician and media reproduction specialist for Schaffer Library, was awarded first place for his image, “After the Fire.” Julie Pamkowski, adjunct professor of photography, won a purchase award for her image, “Flapper.” Also highlighted was “Hands in Water,” a print by Abigail Golodik ’18. The exhibition is being hosted by the Fulton Street Gallery, 408 Fulton St, Troy N.Y. It continues through April 2, including Troy Night Out on March 25.
