An article by Joseph Garcia, visiting assistant professor for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, was published in the fall edition of The Journal of South Texas. The piece is titled “Insurgent Organizing: Garcia V. the City of Taft, Texas—The Personal and Geopolitical Struggle for Political Representation in Rural South Texas, 1980-1989.”

The Adirondack Research Consortium invited Jillmarie Murphy, associate professor of English and director of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies program, to present research from her current book, Attachment, Place, and Otherness in Nineteenth-Century American Literature, at the Women in Conservation Advocacy Conference held at Paul Smith's College. Her talk was "Gendered Spaces: Affect Theory, New Materialism, and the Power of Place Identity."

Stacie Raucci, associate professor and chair of the Classics Department, co-authored Rome: A Sourcebook on the Ancient City. The volume was published by Bloomsbury.
