This year’s Senior Art Thesis Exhibition, titled “Perspectives,” runs through June 17 in the Crowell and West Galleries in the Feigenbaum Center for Visual Arts.

The opening reception is set for May 18, 5-7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

A dozen students from the Class of 2018 display works ranging from socially conscious paintings to generative code art to monumental steel fabrications.

The exhibitors include: Steven Apolo, lithography; Ari Bennett, digital media; Natalya Brill, charcoal and digital media; Brendan Coleman, oil paint; Julia Delaney, photography and digital art; Emily Fiore, oil on canvas; Abby Golodik, steel sculpture; Sonja Hansson, watercolor and ink with gold leaf; Kevin Jordan, photography; Naomi Letourneau, digital fabrication; Rachel McNeil, generative code art; and Arielle Singer, stop motion video.

In a group statement, the seniors remarked that over the past four years, they have “developed our own sense of worldly and artistic perspectives, allowing us to identify as individuals and prosper as artists.

“We represent a variety of backgrounds and academic disciplines but connect and unify through art, each bringing our own approach… This exhibition represents our individual perspectives, encouraging our viewers to arrive at their own.”

The gallery is open daily, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Call (518) 388-6714 for more information.
