The Assistant Program Director working in the Certified Apartment Program serving clients with a mental illness who are living in independent apartments throughout Schenectady. 

Duties include assisting the Program Director with the oversight of the daily operations, client services, and staff supervision.  This position would specifically oversee the client medication process which includes medication time lining, order mediations, obtain necessary paperwork and prescription renew from doctors’ office.  In addition, make sure that all medications are received, organized and available to staff who will work the clients on filling their mediation organizers.  



BA/BS in human services and 1-year experience in human services, Associates degree in human services with 3 years’ experience, or a combination of equivalent experience and education. In addition, experience working with the mentally ill pop, residential experience, and experience with medication management required. Supervisor experience preferred. Valid and insurable driver’s license required.

Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm,

Salary: $16.80/hour: $34,944/annual equivalent.
