Institutional real estate private equity & asset management firm’s Project Management office is seeking an Assistant Project Manager candidate.

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting their assigned Project Manager in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.

The candidate will work with their assigned project manager to help achieve their respective project management objectives. This position reports directly to the assigned Project Manager, Sr. Project Manager, and VP of Construction.

  • Project Coordination & Project Controls
  • Assist Cost Controller with Construction Billings & Cash Flow Projects
  • Job Cost Analysis
  • Project Schedule Adherence
  • Weekly OAC Meetings
  • Meeting Minutes and Documentation
  • Change Management Reports
  • Application for Payment Verification
  • Contract Administration
  • Punch-List Management
  • Close Out, Warranty Review & Procurement
  • As-Built Document Procurement
  • Prepare reports and information as requested, such as Anticipated Cost Reports, Cash Flows, Budget Reports and Project Profit Projections
  • Track project budgets and assist project managers in the on-time, on-budget delivery of construction projects

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Office and Project
  • Able to multi-task and thrive in a challenging, fast paced environment
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree and relevant field preferred
  • An eye for detail and accuracy is imperative
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast pace environment.
  • Superior communication and organization development skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams.
  • In addition to the above listed minimum requirements, candidates who poses the following skills, experience, and capabilities may receive greater consideration during the evaluation process:
    • OSHA Certification

    • Document Control Experience
